Job Description:
Duties include maintaining equipment in the Analog Studio in the Graphic Design department including all letterpress, book-binding, collage space, electric cutter, spray booth, button-makers, wire-o binders, and other equipment.

Maintain and provide upkeep of presses, type, inks, furniture, and related printing items.
Become familiar with equipment in the spaces and  assist students with printing, cutting, binding, type experimentation, and conduct demonstrations of equipment when needed.
Â
Keep all aspects of analog studio and type lounge well-organized and clean, including making improvements to our existing situation.Â
Â
Keep supplies replenished and recommend new equipment for purchase.Â
Qualifications/Skills Needed:
Very useful: Experience working with letterpress equipment; experience using DSLR cameras and studio lighting.Â
Proactive attitude toward everyday tasks.
Ability to seek out and complete work independently.
Reliable and trustworthy.
Good attention to detail.Â
Optimal shifts for this position:
five, 1-hour shifts between 9am and 6pm
two, 2-hour shifts between 9am and 6pm, plus an hour on the weekend
shift days/times are somewhat negotiable
4 hrs a week.
