Job DetailsJob Location: Kansas City, KS 66103McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, P.A. (MVP Law) is looking for an Associate Attorney to join our Kansas City, Kansas office to practice primarily in Tort defense and help us meet the needs of our growing practice. With a physical office space in Kansas City, and the technology and tools to maintain a remote practice, this position offers attorneys the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. We are looking for curious, intelligent, and creative attorneys to join our firm and be part of our fast-paced and rewarding environment as we continue to redefine the law firm experience and forge our own path to the meet the needs of our clients and employees, as we have been doing since 1901.     Duties/Responsibilities  Manage a tort defense caseload with independence  Successfully try cases, conduct depositions and mediations  Effectively establish, build, and maintain relationships with all assigned clients  Participate in marketing and business development opportunities within the firm  Engage in a collaborative team atmosphere  Utilize available technology to manage clients effectively and efficiently within a paperless work environment    With a strong focus on our beliefs – RESPECT EVERYONE, REAL RELATIONSHIPS, and REPUTATION - we build trust and confidence and challenge the status quo through knowledge, innovation, and attentiveness.
