JOB TITLE: Board Certified Behavior Analyst/ Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA/LBA)
DIVISION: Community Living
REPORTS TO: Lead BCBAÂ
SUPERVISES: RBTs, Behavior SpecialistsÂ
EXEMPTION STATUS: ExemptÂ
POSITION SUMMARY: The BCBA/LBA is responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of all behavioral and skill acquisition programming within Community Living residential settings.
This role ensures that Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services are clinically sound, consistently implemented, and aligned with BACB standards, Missouri LBA regulations, and BHA policies.
The BCBA/LBA operates within a residential service delivery model, where interventions are implemented primarily by Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). As such, this role has a critical responsibility for staff training, coaching, and ensuring fidelity of implementation across all environments and shifts.
The BCBA/LBA is accountable for ensuring that individuals receive effective, data-driven, and person-centered behavioral supports that improve safety, independence, and quality of life.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related fieldÂ
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) requiredÂ
• Active state licensure (MO and/or KS as applicable)Â
• Completion of BACB 8-hour supervision trainingÂ
• Minimum 2 years experience in ABA servicesÂ
• Experience in residential or intensive behavioral settings preferred

• Valid driver’s license meeting transportation requirements (Missouri Class E, out-of-state equivalent, or CDL with Passenger/School Bus endorsement).

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)Â
• Develop and update BSPs and skill acquisition programsÂ
• Analyze behavioral data and adjust programming accordinglyÂ
• Ensure interventions are evidence-based and effectiveÂ
• Monitor client progress and outcomesÂ
• Participate in crisis response planning and support
STAFF TRAINING & FIDELITYÂ
• Train DSPs and RBTs on BSP implementation, prompting, reinforcement, and behavior reduction strategiesÂ
• Provide hands-on modeling and coaching within residential environmentsÂ
• Ensure staff competency in implementing programmingÂ
• Conduct fidelity checks and provide corrective feedbackÂ
• Develop training materials and support systemsÂ
• Ensure consistency of implementation across all shifts and staffÂ
BACB & MO LBA COMPLIANCE
• Provide supervision to RBTs and other staff per BACB requirementsÂ
• Ensure supervision requirements (e.g., 5% RBT supervision) are metÂ
• Maintain all documentation required by BACB and MO LBAÂ
• Adhere to BACB Ethics CodeÂ
• Ensure all services are within scope of competenceÂ
• Maintain active certification and licensureÂ
QUALITY ASSURANCE & DATA OVERSIGHT
• Monitor clinical outcomes and performance metricsÂ
• Identify trends and implement improvementsÂ
• Ensure accurate and timely data collectionÂ
• Conduct program reviews and auditsÂ
• Participate in incident review and analysis
On-Call & 24/7 LeadershipÂ
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide decisive leadership during crises
• Serve as a calm, directive presence during high-pressure situations
ACCOUNTABILITY & IMPACT
The BCBA/LBA is directly accountable for the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of behavioral services within Community Living.
This role is responsible for ensuring:
• BSPs and programs are clinically sound and individualizedÂ
• Staff are trained and implementing programming with fidelityÂ
• Data is accurate and used to drive decisionsÂ
• Behavioral supports are consistent across environmentsÂ
• Individuals demonstrate measurable progressÂ
The BCBA/LBA is expected to actively train, coach, and ensure implementation, not simply write plans or provide recommendations.
Failure to meet these expectations may result in corrective action, as clinical performance directly impacts safety, outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
OTHER DUTIES
• Participate in organizational initiatives and strategic planningÂ
• Conduct staff training, supervision, and performance evaluations as assigned
• Participate in on-call rotations for behavioral crisis response
• Complete all documentation, billing, and reporting requirements in accordance with BHA and regulatory guidelines

Starting Salary: Our compensation is competitive within the market. The starting rate for this position begins at $84.610.03 annually, with your final offer based on a combination of your education, relevant experience, and overall qualifications.
