ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Performs routine dental treatments on inmates referred by the medical staff   Documents completed with all services provided to the inmate in the inmate’s medical record  Instructs patients on proper improper dental care  Reviews policies/procedures yearly as related to dental  Assists the jail in developing and implementing policies that will ensure high quality dental care, such as emergency dental treatment of inmates, prescribe medications and special diets required for dental  Any and all other duties as assigned  Qualifications Active license in the state(s) in which services are to be provided, in good standing  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training  2+ years of related experience  Must be able to drive a motor vehicle
