What to Expect Each Shift

No two nights are the same. You'll play a critical role in coordinating the donation process by:

  • Speaking with donor families and guiding them through important conversations with compassion and professionalism.
  • Reviewing medical information and documentation to determine donor eligibility.
  • Coordinating activities among hospitals, funeral homes, medical examiners, and recovery teams.
  • Gathering and organizing time-sensitive information while maintaining accuracy.
  • Making thoughtful decisions based on established guidelines.
  • Supporting a process that requires teamwork across multiple departments and organizations.
