Location: We are currently looking for a Healthcare Architect in our Kansas City, Missouri office or our Lawrence, Kansas office. Responsibilities: Responsible for the planning, design, and management of healthcare projects from initial programming and planning through project completion Work with multi-disciplinary teams on a variety of healthcare project types, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, specialty care centers, and other health education projects (allied health, health sciences, research, etc.) Assist with marketing and developing strong relationships with existing clients and new client leads Qualifications Licensed architect with 10+ years of healthcare experience In-depth understanding of healthcare codes and standards (e.g. FGI, NFPA, etc) EDAC certification preferred, but not required Strong business development experience with a network of existing client relationships Ability to grow, lead, and maintain existing and new client relationships Ability to lead and mentor multi-disciplinary staff with an interest in the healthcare market Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong presentation skills Ability to clearly communicate design ideas Ability to coordinate work efforts between multiple internal disciplines and external consultants Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, and other design communication tools Ability to oversee the documentation and delivery of projects Benefits Opportunity to expand a strong healthcare market sector Team-based atmosphere with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge, innovative projects Ability to make an impact across the country through energy-use reduction and sustainable design solutions Competitive compensation and benefits package with profit-sharing potential.
