The Basics
Location: Kansas City, KS
Compensation: $26.00/hr and up
Days/Hours: This job will be 1st shift, 6am to 2pm, Monday through Friday with overtime as needed, including weekends.   Â
Equipment Used: Various diagnostic and repair tools
Equipment Repaired: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs that move bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What you’ll be doing:
The duties of this hands-on job will include installing, repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing grain handling equipment. This will include a variety of trades: mechanical, electrical and PLCs, welding and fabricating, hydraulics, pneumatics, carpentry, concrete, painting, etc. Industrial Maintenance Technicians will work extended hours and callbacks on short notice. Â
Requirements to be successful in this position:
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
- Available to work overtime and weekends
- Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
- Able to pass a criminal background check

- You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
