JOB SUMMARY

Ā 

Maintains strong relationships both internally and externally ensuring material requirements and inquiries are met in a timely fashion. Owns the reporting on key metrics associated with Global Supply Capabilities. Own new product set-up and maintenance for Mechanix Wear products in the designated ERP system. Own inventory transfers and packaging materials to fill orders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Material Supply Support
    1. Execute and support materials supply planning activities and to drive best practice resultsĀ 
      • Assist with and make recommendations on detailed and comprehensive global analysis on material costs and identify opportunities for bulk discounts or cost savings from suppliersĀ 
      • Research and report individualized inventory gains and losses and provide up to date reasoning.
      • Track and assist in execution of inventory reduction initiatives to include creation and compilation of monthly progress reports
    2. Analyze data to monitor order fulfillment and future requirements.
      • Carry out routine inventory availability audits and communicate with stakeholders by sharing reports, updates and analysis to aid in decisions to promote revenue generationĀ 
      • Manage analysis and requests for expedited transportation options to promote improved fill rates and assist in the coordination of order fulfillment
      • Own and report on the review of opportunities for item transfers globally to fill current order needs.
      • Monitor exceptions and recommend process improvementsĀ 
  • Data Management and Maintenance
    1. Set up and maintain all product system item hierarchies and monitor data integrity
      • Set-up new products for Mechanix Wear into current ERP system (P21 and SAP by Design). Ā 
      • Work with product development, supply chain, marketing, and customer support as needed to gather required information for complete product set-up in associated engineering platforms and GDSNĀ 
      • Creation of UPCs and GTINs
  • Work towards and support a culture of continuous improvement and work to make business and department improvements wherever possible

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of Global Supply Chain, combining functional and technical expertise to impact customer experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of Windows-based programs with proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, product set-up requirements.
  • Familiar with material supply planning, purchasing, logistics, and supply chain operations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain meticulous records.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • None

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associates degree required. B.A. in Business or Supply Chain preferred.Ā 
  • APICS/ASCM Certifications preferred
  • 3-5 Years supply planning experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
