Principal Accountabilities:

  • Operating equipment associated with the loadout and unloading process for bulk materials including trucks and/or rail cars, utilizing scales, pumps, conveyors, and mobile equipment
  • Creating scale tickets, collecting product samples, and supervising tank inventory, utilizing computer systems to input and record data as necessary
  • Inspecting buildings, grounds, and equipment utilized by the facility to perform light maintenance and repair work; determine immediate and long range needs for maintenance and repair work
  • Solve issues independently with minimal guidance
  • Interacting regularly with peers, management, merchants, and customers to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
  • Taking initiative in making decisions within your scope and escalating other issues to your supervisor or manager
  • Providing a high level of customer service
  • Understanding and adhering to all policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to independently problem solve and resolve issues within the scope of your role
  • Must be able to learn computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, and SAP
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above), via ladders and/or stairs
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice
  • Must have very good time management skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple processes simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and possess follow-up skills
  • Must have high attention to detail
  • Must have High school diploma/GED or a minimum of three years equivalent work experience

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
  • Experience working in a production related environment
  • Experience in Truck / Rail car loading / unloading
