Position Responsibilities
Â
- Lead and execute commodity origination and marketing strategies aligned with MacroSource’s overall business objectives
- Drive sustained growth in volume, margins, and market share across assigned products and customer segments
- Diversify price and market risk utilizing MacroSource products, services, and hedging strategies
- Develop, maintain, and expand strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, and transportation partners
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by providing expert market insight, pricing strategies, and solution-based recommendations
- Oversee logistics planning and execution to ensure timely, cost-effective product delivery using the local and regional truck market
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and company risk management requirements
- Prepare and present performance updates, forecasts, and market insights to location management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, risk, and leadership teams to support broader business initiatives
- Mentor and support junior merchandising or origination staff, contributing to talent development and knowledge sharing

Qualifications
Â
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience; an emphasis in Agriculture preferred
- 5–10 years of experience in industry sales
- Demonstrated success in driving profitable growth and managing customer portfolios
- Strong understanding of commodity markets, risk management, and pricing strategies
- Advanced analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Proven ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and business judgment
