Sioux Chief Manufacturing is looking for an experienced, relationship-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our Sales team!
This is a great opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships, developing sales teams, and being out in the field. Ideally, this position will be based in the Kansas City area with a willingness to travel extensively throughout the Northeast region—approximately 100 days per year.
What You'll Do
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will take ownership of sales performance and growth across your assigned region. You'll work closely with independent sales representative agencies, factory sales personnel, customers, and our internal teams to build relationships and drive results.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, sales representatives, wholesalers, contractors, engineers, and other industry partners.
- Train and develop independent sales representatives on Sioux Chief products, sales strategies, and best practices.
- Deliver professional product presentations and support sales efforts at all levels of the industry.
- Develop and execute annual goal-driven business development plans for assigned territories.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Serve as a market expert, staying current on customers, competition, pricing, plumbing and building practices, industry terminology, and applicable codes.
- Partner with code officials and industry organizations to support product adoption and code approvals.
- Identify and resolve sales challenges using sound judgment, negotiation, analysis, and resourcefulness.
- Develop strategic relationships with key personnel at national accounts as directed by National Sales leadership.
- Communicate market trends, competitive information, challenges, and opportunities to internal product and sales leadership.
- Use our CRM to document sales activity, customer information, and results.
- Participate in buying group events, trade shows, and other industry events.
- Share ideas, best practices, and market insight with the broader Sales team.

- The ability to train, coach, and influence sales representatives and partners.
- A strong understanding of the plumbing, construction, or building products industry is highly valued.
- The ability to learn and confidently speak to a broad product line.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a territory independently.
- A team-oriented mindset and willingness to share knowledge and best practices.
- A willingness and ability to travel approximately 100 days per year, primarily throughout the assigned Northeast territory.
