We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join this brand new progressive care unit. This PCU Unit is located at our Plaza location in Kansas City, MO and is a Magnet designated facility that is a leader in Academic Medical Centers. This nursing team provides care to post-surgical and medical short stay patients in a fast-paced environment with various acuity levels.
Shift: Full Time Nights. This position comes with night and weekend shift differential.
This PCU Unit will allow you to gain RN experience with:
- Fast Paced Environment

- Work with patients across all specialties
- High Patient Turn Over
- Post-Surgical and Medical Patients

Responsibilities:
- Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
Applicable Experience:
Less than 1 year
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various
Associate Degree
