Job Description

The Opportunity:

We are hiring a PreOP/PACU Registered Nurse for our Surgical Services Float Pool team. In this position you will work with various conditions, procedures, and acuity levels. Our Plaza location is a Magnet Level 1 Trauma Academic Medical Center. Shift Details:

We are proud to offer differential wage rates for this Float Pool position. You will have the opportunity to float to Saint Luke's Hospital, Saint Luke's East, Saint Luke's North and Saint Luke's South.

This position is 4-10 hour shifts weekly with a rotating bi-weekly template. Scheduled locations are decided 4-6 weeks in advance.

Work:
  • Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
  • Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
  • Delegates tasks appropriately.
  • Identifies hospital resources.
  • Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
  • Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
