The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Relationship Banker I to join our Retail Banking team at our Liberty branch. In this role, you'll be the face of nbkc, building lasting relationships with our customers and providing them with exceptional banking experiences.
What You'll Do
  • Engage with Customers: Open and process new deposit accounts, providing insightful information on our products and services.

  • Drive Sales: Actively sell, cross-sell, and refer bank products and services to meet individual, branch, and bank goals.

  • Deepen Relationships: Identify customers’ financial needs and offer tailored solutions, enhancing their banking experience.

  • Ensure Excellence: Deliver top-notch customer service across all channels, in-person, phone, and digital.

  • Maintain Accuracy: Operate a cash drawer with precision, processing transactions efficiently and balancing cash drawers daily.

  • Stay Compliant: Adhere to all procedural and regulatory guidelines, ensuring audit quality and compliance.

  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and support branch operations.

  • Flexibility: Be willing to work at any nbkc branch location as needed.


What You Bring
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.

  • Experience: 2–3 years of previous banking experience.

  • Skills: Excellent customer service abilities, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and a team-oriented mindset.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with retail banking products/services and banking regulations/compliance is preferred.

  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
