Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Inspection in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, student or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, communicate observations to appropriate school personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership, and document incidents as required.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming learning environment and assisting with directions, escorts, and other customer service needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
