Do you have warehouse, inventory, and shipping experience in a manufacturing environment? EnSight Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to help keep materials moving efficiently through our operations team. If you're organized, safety-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you'll play a key role in managing incoming and outgoing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipments using the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods
- Create bills of lading and verify shipments against work orders
- Receive and inspect incoming materials to ensure accuracy
- Sort, package, label, and track inventory and shipments
- Deliver materials to production teams and designated project locations
- Investigate shipment discrepancies and track proof of delivery when needed
- Support warehouse organization and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S activities
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory accuracy efforts
- Maintain shipping and receiving records within the ERP system
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts (as trained)
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 3-5 years of warehouse, inventory, or shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience using ERP systems such as SyteLine preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to work effectively with coworkers, customers, and vendors
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands and arms for handling materials
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment and safely perform physical tasks required for shipping and receiving functions
