Position Description: 

Title: Site Coordinator

Summary: The Site Coordinator is responsible for maintaining safety standards within the organization, collaborating with other departments, and representing Jet Midwest while working with vendors. This position is onsite, full-time M-F, located in KC, MO. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

  • Working closely with all departments -in particular operations, programs, sales, quality and warehouse- to ensure accurate and timely response to internal and external customers and needs
  • Maintain an open line of communication with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the highest level of safety and quality standards in line with industry best practices are employed (people resources, environmental health and safety, methodologies, etc)
  • Facility Maintenance and Safety team support as needed
  • Work with managers on all training topics
  • Perform routine inspections, and reports discrepancies
  • Perform spill clean-up as needed
  • Analyze and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, determine if there is a need for change and ensure expectations are managed accordingly with customers
  • Create, implement, monitor and manage to appropriate KPIs
  • Project management support
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience: 

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • General knowledge of safety/OSHA preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Takes initiative and is self-motivating
  • Significant ability to multi-task

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the Site Coordinator, you will be performing work in a variety of interior and exterior conditions and will be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (may include respirators). The job will require the ability to frequently bend, reach, left, climb stairs/ladders and/or work high off the ground, stand, or walk for extended periods of time, work in tight/closed-in spaces, grasp tools and parts, and crouch/or crawl. At times, some lifting may be required, up to 50 lb.
