Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

As a Store Design Project Manager, you'll lead the planning and execution of retail store projects from concept to completion, including remodels, fixture updates, graphics, and facility enhancements, while ensuring alignment with budgets, timelines, and brand standards.

 

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

  • Lead: the end-to-end execution of retail store projects, managing scope, budgets, timelines, resources, and deliverables from initial concept through project completion
  • Coordinate: cross-functional teams, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives
  • Manage: vendor relationships, including bid processes, contract negotiations, performance oversight, and cost management to achieve high-quality results
  • Drive: project communication by providing updates, presentations, documentation, and reporting that keep leadership and stakeholders informed of progress and key decisions
  • Enhance: the in-store and employee experience by partnering with merchandising, brand, and operational teams to implement fixtures, graphics, displays, and facility improvements
  • Identify: opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement, and cost savings through effective project management practices, site evaluations, and creative problem-solving

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years on-going project management that includes being in charge of multiple projects and timelines, coordinating people, details and action plans   
  • A basic working knowledge of construction trades and practices as it relates to building operation and processes
  • Able to read, understand and red-line construction documents and fixture shop drawings 
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc 
  • Experience with project management and tracking software tools (e.g. MS Planner or similar platforms)
  • Experience with 3D imaging or modeling tools (e.g. Ricoh Theta, Matterport) preferred
  • Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs  
  • Must be flexible with work schedule  
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) along with 3D visualization tools such as Sketchup or Rhino
  • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check
