Physician - Academic Laryngologist Faculty Position

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, is seeking a full-time fellowship-trained Laryngologist to join our thriving, multidisciplinary Voice, Airway and Swallowing program.  This is an exceptional opportunity to build a rewarding clinical practice while contributing to one of the nation’s leading academic health systems.

The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City is an academic and regional referral center. Patients come from all over the Midwest Region for advanced diagnosis and innovative treatments. Practice sites will include The University of Kansas Health System, as well as our affiliated sites of the Kansas City VA, and University Health Medical Center.

Preference will be given to those individuals who have strong clinical experience and an interest in research, educating residents, medical students and fellows and scholarly activities. There are a considerable number of clinical trials and funded translational research within the division, and the Department has the resources and infrastructure to support a candidate who currently holds or has the potential for securing competitive external funding.

Required Qualifications: 

  • MD, DO or equivalent degree 
  • Completion of ACGME-accredited residency training in Otolaryngology
  • Board certified or eligible in Otolaryngology
  • Completion of Laryngology fellowship
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Kansas and Missouri
