About The Position

Missouri-based hospital seeking OBGYN locums coverage for low-volume, call-only assignments. Night shifts only - ideal for physicians looking to earn supplemental income without clinic or full-day commitments.

Highlights

• Nightly call-only coverage - no clinic or daytime responsibilities
• Minimal volume: 0-5 phone consults and 0-2 admissions per night
• Trauma Level 3 facility with ~750 deliveries annually
• Supportive L&D staff with 1:1 RN coverage during labor
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided

Practice Setting

• Inpatient coverage only
• 16-bed women's unit (8 LDRP, 8 couplet/GYN)
• Missouri hospital with dedicated women's health team
• Strong RN ratios and one on-site NP in the office
• Office and hospital support team of 16+

Schedule

• Night call shifts only - pager call with 30-minute response time
• No clinic, no day shifts required
• Dates still available through November 2025
• PRN or part-time call coverage welcome

Procedures and Cases

• Labor and delivery
• GYN patients and postpartum care
• No clinic procedures or surgery required

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in OBGYN
• Active Missouri license required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing takes 60-90 days
• Start dates as early as July 2025

Travel accommodations

• Travel and lodging arranged and covered
• Medical malpractice insurance provided
