Job Description

Saint Luke's South in Overland Park is seeking Registered Nurse to join our progressive care unit team. We are looking for positive nurses who enjoy working with a team, passionate about helping others expand their skill sets and is patient centered. We believe in creating teams that are kind, professional and treats each other as they would a patient to help ensure our vision to be, "The Best Place to Get Care. The Best Place to Give Care."

Saint Luke's South is proudly a Primary Stroke Center as well as STEMI receiving center. It delivers high-quality health care to Johnson County, Kansas, and the surrounding communities. It has been certified by The Joint Commission in orthopedic joint replacement for hip and knee.

Shift Details: Full Time Day Shift

The Work:
  • Utilizesthe nursing process
  • Performspatient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff
  • Coordinatesthe plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Demonstratesproficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures
