The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Crittenton Children’s Center in South Kansas City, MO is seeking a Manager of Intake Services to join our team. The Manager of Intake Services facilitates and directs 24 7 inpatient bed utilization residential and hospital , ensures compliance with all pertinent regulations, and builds strong relationships with third party payers. Positive relationships with physicians, nursing supervisors and senior administration are required to ensure empathic and timely response to individual patient and community needs.

The Work:

  • Supervises PLCP's for licensure

  • Supervises UR and Discharge planning Coordinates staffing for hospital therapy,  UR, Discharge Planning, and Intake

  • Monitors trends in admissions and diversions     

  • Manages daily patient assignments for hospital patients

  • Manages payroll for Hospital Therapy, Intake, UR, and Discharge Planning services

  • Hires, trains, and orients staff
