This position is accountable for the operational direction and management of the Respiratory Care Services department on a 24 hour basis. This person serves as a positive professional role model exhibiting clinical leadership independent judgment and decision making skills. The Clinical Manager ensures quality care and service continuity regulatory and accreditation requirements and personnel management. The Respiratory Care Manager supports and participates as appropriate inter intra departmental meetings performance improvement activities continuing education professional growth and development activities and performs other duties as assigned. May be required to cover PFT and RT shifts at times depending on census and scheduling constraints. In lieu of the Bachelor s degree we would consider technical school and 10 years experience.
