Description:
- Operates a switchboard to route incoming calls and places outgoing calls
- Answers incoming communication line with professional warmth and courtesy
- Directs calls to destination without delay
- Takes detailed messages when caller cannot be connected to appropriate destination and leave written or voice message
- Follows through on messages to see that Associate received message in a timely manner
- Proactively maintains day-to-day information on the schedules of Associates, understanding when and where they can be reached
- Greets visitors, vendors, Clients, applicants and other visitors, and contacts appropriate Associate
- Directs guests to proper location
- Arranges transportation services when needed
- Provides administrative services to staff as needed
- Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or related field and/or years of experience equivalent
- Strong computer literacy required; Keyboarding of 30 WPM
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
- Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
- Previous reception experience preferred
- Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft
- Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, photocopier, and facsimile machine
- Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
- Legally able to work in the United States
