Description:

  • Operates a switchboard to route incoming calls and places outgoing calls
  • Answers incoming communication line with professional warmth and courtesy
  • Directs calls to destination without delay
  • Takes detailed messages when caller cannot be connected to appropriate destination and leave written or voice message
  • Follows through on messages to see that Associate received message in a timely manner
  • Proactively maintains day-to-day information on the schedules of Associates, understanding when and where they can be reached
  • Greets visitors, vendors, Clients, applicants and other visitors, and contacts appropriate Associate
  • Directs guests to proper location
  • Arranges transportation services when needed
  • Provides administrative services to staff as needed
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed



Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma or related field and/or years of experience equivalent
  • Strong computer literacy required; Keyboarding of 30 WPM
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
  • Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
  • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information
  • Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
  • Previous reception experience preferred
  • Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft
  • Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, photocopier, and facsimile machine
  • Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
  • Legally able to work in the United States
