S&K Sales Co. is seeking three experienced sales professionals to join our Hawaiʻi team as Business Managers.

This is an opportunity to turn strategy into measurable results across Hawaiʻi’s retail market. You’ll build relationships with buyers and retail partners, develop sales plans, lead promotions and new product launches, and help leading consumer brands grow throughout the islands.

The ideal candidate has experience in consumer products, retail sales, food or beverage distribution, account management, merchandising, or a comparable field. You should be comfortable analyzing sales performance, presenting to clients, coordinating with field teams, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop strategic sales plans aligned with manufacturer budgets, forecasts, and growth objectives.
  • Achieve annual goals for sales volume, distribution, pricing, promotional activity, and fund management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and internal partners.
  • Develop and review customized sales plans with current and prospective buyers.
  • Present upcoming promotions, new product launches, and business opportunities to clients.
  • Partner with the General Manager and Sales Director to develop and execute annual promotional calendars.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve distribution, inventory, pricing, and in-store execution.
  • Set and monitor monthly objectives for Territory Managers.
  • Work alongside Territory Managers in retail stores to support merchandising and sales execution.
  • Conduct store audits to verify planogram compliance, pricing, product placement, and merchandising standards.
  • Develop accurate forecasts for promotional and non-promotional products.
  • Maintain current promotional information, manufacturer pricing, and product updates.
  • Support manufacturer and store resets.
  • Help address slow-moving, discontinued, overstocked, and newly introduced products.
  • Ensure new products are shipped to customers promptly after arriving at the warehouse.
  • Communicate product changes involving pricing, packaging, UPCs, replacements, and discontinued items.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Experience in business management, retail sales, consumer products, account management, food or beverage distribution, merchandising, or a related field.
  • Strong sales planning, forecasting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate market information and sales data into practical business plans.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Confidence working with buyers, clients, manufacturers, distributors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort using digital tools and learning new business systems.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as required.

PHYSICAL AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires regular local travel and the ability to visit retail locations. The employee will frequently sit, walk, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive motions and may occasionally stand, bend, or crouch. The employee must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
