Assists tenants with ADL tasks including housekeeping, personal laundry, bathing, toileting, dressing, undressing, oral care, skin care and hair care and any other needs addressed on the tenant service plan.

Job Duties:

Provides support to tenants with their ambulation, positioning and range of motion. Monitors ambulation and transfer techniques for appropriateness and safety.

Assists with phone calls and hearing/vision adaptive devices.

Records and reports changes in the tenant’s physical and/or cognitive/emotional status to the Building Manager and/or Executive Director of Community Living Services in a timely manner.

Answers tenant call signals in a timely manner and provides assistance as necessary.

Assists with safe administration of medications including the monitoring of medication supplies. Follows procedure for accurate and timely documentation for medication administration.

Conducts room checks and performs rounds based on assigned schedule.

Escorts tenants to activities, dining area, beauty shop, etc. on an as needed basis.

Completes all assigned documentation accurately using approved abbreviations and descriptive terms
