We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to maintain manufacturing equipment, and facilities maintenance. This is an active hands-on role in support of facilities and production needs simultaneously. The right candidate will be flexible with changing priorities and have an ability to work with minimal supervision. This role will be supporting equipment in a cleanroom environment as well as fabrication equipment in non-clean spaces. On a personal level, the candidate will exhibit the highest standards of integrity, deliver upon all commitments, and be a highly motivated, team player with a positive attitude.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTONS: A qualified individual with a disability must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment: mechanical, software, basic electrical, basic controls.
  • Identifies and submits procurement tickets for needed spare parts.
  • Primary point of contact on shift for equipment maintenance and parts replacement.
  • Works with engineering and management to understand equipment scheduled maintenance needs.
  • Maintain/Install machine control systems as needed
  • Maintain facility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, chilled-water, and nitrogen systems.
  • Work on and close out maintenance requests that pertain to the facility including basic carpentry, minor plumbing, minor electrical, mechanical, and other items as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly facility and workspace during activities and assist in cleanup events when equipment malfunctions.
  • Ability to work with & schedule vendors to the site for support of specialized systems.
  • Support Continuous Improvement events and participate in team activities
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing to improve process and equipment reliability.
  • Willing to learn and work on vacuum chamber coating system equipment
  • Must be proficiency with MS office tools.
  • Must support the EH&S program by following IDEX guidance and processes and be EH&S point of contact on shift for production.
  • Responsible for promoting a culture of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Growth.
  • Other duties/ functions as determined by business need or assigned by the Manager or his/her designate.
  • Other related duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Works in a manufacturing and inspection environment.
  • Moderate walking, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching required.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds.
  • Operates tools, equipment, and machinery in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Required to maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Must follow established safety procedures.
  • Responsible for correcting unsafe conditions when possible and reporting hazards to management or the Safety Committee immediately.
  • Travel may be required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five (5) or more years of experience with manufacturing equipment & facility maintenance
  • Experience with Facility Systems
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments and documented quality systems, including GMP/GDP practices, SOPs, SPI requirements, and internal quality procedures.
  • Experience with Preventive Maintenance Programs
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures accurately.
  • Strong ability to prioritize assignments and manage time effectively.
  • Capable of working independently and completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to make sound decisions within assigned responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
