How you’ll contribute as an employee of TRH Keller you will join a team that embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for the delivery of patient care. You will work with a team committed to ensure patients receive optimal medical attention and support. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering treatments, assisting in assessments, and supporting interdisciplinary care planning in accordance with the patient’s needs.

Essential Functions

  • Administer medications safely, accurately, and based on patient age and clinical condition.

  • Minimize potential for medication errors by following proper medication administration procedures.

  • Assist the RN with initial assessments and patient reassessments per policy.

  • Identify and implement appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.

  • Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments under RN supervision.

  • Deliver care based on patient response to treatment and update the interdisciplinary plan accordingly.

  • Assess and reassess pain; use appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients and families.

  • Perform all patient care tasks in a manner that promotes patient safety and reduces medical errors.

  • Develop and implement individualized teaching plans based on patient and family learning needs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for Passionate for Patient Care Nurse that is dedicated to support and lead the nursing team to provide the best care possible 

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program . 

  • Experience: Minimum of one year in a rehabilitative or acute care setting required.

  • License: Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.

  • Certifications: CPR/BLS certification required; IV Certification highly preferred or must be obtained within 6 months.
