Mountain Valley of Cascadia is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our award-winning team. Nestled in the heart of North Idaho, our facility is known for delivering exceptional care while fostering a supportive, team-first culture.

What You’ll Do
Provide Exceptional Care
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in a skilled nursing/long-term care settingÂ
- Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changesÂ
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that support long-term wellnessÂ
Lead & Support Your Team
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure safe, effective care deliveryÂ
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environmentÂ
- Serve as a clinical leader and resource for your teamÂ
Ensure Accurate Documentation & Communication
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with all regulationsÂ
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and family membersÂ
- Complete all required documentation, including assessments, physician orders, progress notes, flowsheets, and consentsÂ
Medication Management
- Safely administer and document medications, including post-admission dosesÂ
- Monitor for effectiveness and adverse reactionsÂ
- Maintain narcotic records and coordinate medication ordersÂ
- Complete physician order reviews and initiate therapies as orderedÂ
Clinical & Emergency Response
- Respond quickly to changes in resident conditionÂ
- Initiate emergency interventions and perform CPR when neededÂ
Stay Compliant & Professional
- Follow all clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standardsÂ
- Practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice ActÂ
- Maintain punctuality and reliabilityÂ
What You Bring
- Current, active RN licenseÂ
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentialityÂ
- Excellent communication and leadership skillsÂ
- Strong organizational and time management abilitiesÂ

Education
- Graduate of an accredited RN program (BSN preferred)Â
Licensure & Certification
- Current RN license in the state of employmentÂ
- Valid CPR certificationÂ
Experience
- Minimum of six (6) months experience in long-term care preferredÂ
