Assistant Nurse (RN) Manager - Operating Room (OR)

• The Assistant Manager, Nursing (ANM) supports the Nurse Manager in the supervision and coordination of nursing services within a designated patient care area. 
• This role involves planning, providing, supervising, and documenting professional nursing care using the nursing process for patients in accordance with provider orders and established policies and procedures. 
• The ANM plays a key role in promoting quality outcomes, staff development, operational efficiency, and a culture of excellence in patient and family-centered care.

Licensure: 

• Current North Carolina unrestricted RN license is required.
• Certifications required: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS 

Education: 

• Associate's Degree of Nursing (ADN) is required 
• Bachelor's Degree of Nursing is preferred

Experience:

• Two to three years of clinical nursing experience. Specialty experience (OR) is required for this position. 
• Previous leadership or charge nurse experience is preferred. 
  
  
   

• Assistant Nurse Manager hourly range > $43.40 - $59.68
• Final compensation is determined at the offer stage. 

• Location/Department: ECU Health Duplin (Kenansville, NC) - Operating Room (OR)
• This position is full-time (36hrs/week) with 9-hour shifts (4 days per week - rotating M - F) and occasional call

ECU Health Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed facility located in Kenansville, North Carolina. The 15-bed emergency department serves approximately 25,000 patients per year. In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin Hospital offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center.
