Overview

Nova Medical Services
is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure our organization maintains high standards of patient care, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in healthcare administration, compliance, medical records review, or auditing who enjoys analyzing information, identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with teams to maintain quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine audits of clinical documentation, workflows, and operational processes

  • Review patient records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and payer requirements

  • Track and analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

  • Assist in developing and supporting quality improvement initiatives

  • Provide feedback and guidance to clinical and administrative teams regarding documentation and quality standards

  • Maintain organized records of audits, findings, and corrective actions

  • Assist the organization in preparing for regulatory reviews, accreditation surveys, and payer audits

  • Stay informed on healthcare regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, auditing, medical records review, or a related healthcare role

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and electronic health record (EHR) systems

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Work Environment

  • Fully on-site position

  • Collaborative healthcare office environment

  • Regular use of computer systems and documentation review

Schedule

Full-time | Monday – Friday
Minimum 40 hours per week

Compensation & Benefits
