CNC Lathe Machinist

B&J Medical is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC Swiss lathes to produce high-precision components in a clean, quality-focused medical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Swiss lathes (Star, Citizen, Tsugami, or similar)
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
Perform first article and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
Troubleshoot machine issues and make tooling or offset adjustments as needed
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
Follow FDA, ISO, safety, and company quality standards
Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

3+ years of CNC Swiss lathe experience preferred
Experience with G-code/M-code programming and tool offsets
Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and precision inspection equipment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Medical manufacturing experience is a plus

Full-time position
Day, evening, and night shifts available
