The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is a newly created, high-impact role responsible for building and leading the company's FP&A function. Working closely with the CFO, COO, General Managers, and executive leadership, this position will develop budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analytical processes that drive strategic decision-making and business growth across five geographic markets. The role will transform financial and operational data into actionable insights, improve profitability, support long-term planning, and identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to increase efficiency and enhance business performance.

- Lead the annual budgeting process for all five markets.
- Develop and maintain rolling monthly and quarterly forecasts.
- Prepare and manage the company’s three-year financial plan.
- Coordinate budget submissions from each market and ensure consistency across assumptions.
- Work with the CFO and COO to establish revenue, margin, labor, overhead, and capital expenditure targets.
- Develop scenario analyses including Base Case, Best Case, Downside Case, and economic sensitivity analyses.
- Utilize AI-driven forecasting tools to enhance predictive accuracy and identify emerging trends.
- Update forecasts as market conditions change.
Financial Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Develop and deliver timely financial reporting packages and executive dashboards that provide visibility into financial and operational performance.
- Analyze business performance across markets, divisions, customers, service lines, and individual projects to identify trends and opportunities.
- Monitor key financial and operational KPIs including revenue, profitability, margins, cash flow, working capital, labor productivity, and sales performance.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term performance.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that align financial performance with operational execution.
Financial Analysis & Decision Support
- Perform variance analysis and identify the key drivers of financial and operational performance.
- Build financial models to evaluate profitability, pricing, resource allocation, capital investments, and other strategic initiatives.
- Support leadership with financial analysis for operational decisions, business planning, and investment opportunities.
- Translate complex financial information into clear recommendations for operational leaders.
Strategic Business Partnership
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the CFO, COO, and General Managers across all markets.
- Support strategic initiatives including geographic expansion, acquisitions, capital investments, and long-term planning.
- Prepare executive presentations and communicate financial insights that support informed decision-making.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reporting packages for monthly operating reviews, quarterly business reviews, annual planning meetings, and other leadership presentations.
Systems, Reporting & Process Improvement
- Enhance financial reporting through advanced Excel modeling, business intelligence tools, and automation.
- Develop scalable reporting processes that improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to streamline workflows, improve reporting, and strengthen decision-making.
- Maintain data integrity and establish standardized reporting practices across all markets.
Qualifications
Required
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience.
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks, including financial reporting and extraction of operational data.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex financial models, Power Query, pivot tables, dashboards, and scenario analysis.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of GAAP financial statements.
- Experience supporting multi-location or multi-business-unit organizations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to present financial information clearly to operational leaders.
- Familiarity with AI tools, data analytics platforms, or automation technologies.
Preferred
- Experience in restoration, construction, property services, or field service industries.
- Familiarity with SERVPRO operations and restoration job costing.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms.
- Experience with acquisition analysis, valuation modeling, and financial due diligence.
- Experience implementing or working with AI-driven analytics or automation tools.
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or CMA designation.
