HRIS/WORKDAY experience highly desirable
We are seeking an energetic, professional and organized Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Kenner. In this role, you will serve as a support function within our HR department, performing recruitment, onboarding, and administrative HR functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting our employees and organizational goals.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding of new employees
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Provide support to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace procedures in a professional and empathetic manner
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies through proper documentation and record-keeping
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve HR-related issues in a timely and supportive manner

**Required Qualifications:**

- 1 year experience in a Human Resources role or related HR function
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups of employees
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
