SERVPRO is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician to help homeowners and businesses recover after water damage, fire damage, mold issues, storms, and other property emergencies. This is a hands on position where no two days are alike and every project presents a new challenge.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Restoration Technician, you will respond to property damage emergencies and assist with mitigation and restoration services for residential and commercial customers.

Daily responsibilities may include:
  • Performing water extraction and structural drying services
  • Assisting with fire and smoke cleanup
  • Conducting demolition and removal of damaged materials
  • Setting up and monitoring restoration equipment
  • Cleaning and preparing job sites for restoration work
  • Loading, maintaining, and organizing equipment and vehicles
  • Documenting job progress through photos and notes
  • Communicating professionally with customers and team members
  • Following safety procedures and company standards on every project

Previous experience in restoration, construction, demolition, maintenance, moving, landscaping, or other labor intensive industries is helpful, but not required.

Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Willingness to participate in an on call rotation, including occasional evenings and weekends
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
  • IICRC certifications are a plus but not required

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in varying environments
  • Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and other confined areas when necessary
  • Ability to work around cleaning products, moisture, dust, and restoration equipment
