Job DetailsJob Location: 1755 MCCOLLUM PKWY ENTRANCE C - KENNESAW, GA 30144Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: NegligibleJob Shift: AnyJob Category: TransportationThe Flight Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the general duties and requirements of a dynamic, 24/7 flight operations team. The primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of all flight operations, as well as to coordinate services to ensure all approved flight operations are conducted in accordance with FAA requirements, company manuals, and Operations Management.  Essential Job Functions: Responsible to the Lead Dispatcher for an elevated level of knowledge, accuracy, and teamwork to provide excellent service to both internal and external customers. Responsible for ensuring crewmembers are current and qualified for an assigned flight, including flight and duty time limitations, training, takeoff and landing currency, instrument currency, airman competency/proficiency check(s), medical, etc. Responsible for taking a proactive role in all international trip planning and coordination. This includes any communication with third-party handlers and efficient coordination between trip support personnel, Dispatchers, and crew members. Responsible for making daily crew assignments as directed by FlightWorks’ Lead Dispatcher and communicating those assignments to all crew members. Responsible for monitoring and selecting preferred vendor services such as FBOs, international support agencies, fuelers, caterers, hotels, and ground transportation services. This includes collecting vendor data, maintaining information in a centralized database. Responsible for notifying all bases and the ground support staff of daily aircraft departures and arrivals. Responsible for managing the internal Dispatch trip checklist and confirming completion of all items prior to execution of the flight. Responsible for reviewing, in collaboration with the assigned PIC, weather, NOTAMs, and TFRs for all scheduled airports for maximum operational awareness and making necessary recommendations related to operational impacts. Responsible for communicating with crew members in all stages of a trip including pre-flight, enroute and post-flight, utilizing all available communication methods such as cell phone, data-link messaging, air traffic control, and flight phone.
