The Director of Culinary is a strategic, hands-on leader who lives at the intersection of creativity and execution. This role is for a chef who can inspire teams, elevate menus, and drive consistency across multiple concepts—without losing the soul of great food. You’ll set the culinary vision, build and develop talent, and partner closely with operations to ensure every dish reflects our standards, our brand, and our commitment to exceptional guest experiences. Strong business acumen, a passion for mentorship, and a love for creating memorable dining moments are essential as you help shape the future of TEI Hospitality.

TEI Hospitality (est. 2021) is a full-service hospitality management company dedicated to creating exceptional guest experiences through thoughtful design, culinary excellence, and best-in-class operations across its diverse portfolio of properties.

  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all culinary operations across TEIH concepts.
  • Develop and maintain culinary standards, menus, and recipes that align with brand vision and guest expectations.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of food across all locations.
  • Willing to lead, mentor, and develop executive chefs and culinary leadership teams.
  • Oversee food cost control, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management to meet financial goals.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and leadership teams on concept development and special initiatives. 
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Drive innovation through menu development, seasonal offerings, and culinary trends.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Strong knowledge of food quality, menu development, and kitchen operations
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate culinary teams
  • Understanding of food costs, inventory, and budgeting
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to work across multiple locations as needed
