Job Title: Fleet & Logistics Technician
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Job Location: Kennesaw OfficeÂ
Hrs. of Operation: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid lunch; based on business needs

Status: Full-time/Non-Exempt
Job Summary: The Fleet & Logistics Technician is a mechanically capable, hands-on generalist who supports the company’s fleet, tools, equipment, deliveries, warehouse, property, and other operational needs. Approximately 30–35% of the role is routine fleet maintenance and vehicle support; the remaining 65–70% is divided among logistics, tool and equipment upkeep, warehouse support, recycling, grounds upkeep, marketing logistics, and other assigned work.
Job Duties:Â Â
- Fleet maintenance:Â Perform oil and filter changes, brake service, batteries, bulbs, wipers, tire rotations, routine safety inspections, scan-tool code retrieval, and basic electrical or drivability diagnostics; maintain service records and preventive-maintenance tracking.
- Vehicle support:Â Pick up parts and supplies, transport vehicles to and from outside repair facilities, maintain the fleet service area, and promptly report unsafe or potentially costly conditions.
- Tools and equipment:Â Inspect, clean, test, maintain, and complete basic repairs on company tools and equipment; track items awaiting repair, prepare new equipment for use, and coordinate outside or warranty service when needed.
- Delivery and logistics:Â Load and deliver staged materials, tools, and equipment to plumbers and job sites; complete vendor pickups, returns, warranty movement, urgent approved runs, and related delivery documentation.
- Warehouse support:Â Assist with unloading, put-away, staging, replenishment, vehicle loading, truck restocking, cycle counts, physical inventories, material movement, cleanliness, and organization as directed.
- Recycling and property upkeep:Â Sort and transport scrap; coordinate proper disposal of oil, batteries, tires, and fluids; mow and edge the lawn, blow parking and walking areas, and complete very basic building upkeep and cleanup.
- General operational support:Â Provide labor and logistics help for marketing, company events, moves, special projects, vehicle or equipment movement, and other reasonable hands-on assignments.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 Years minimum experience.
- Dependable, mechanically capable generalist rather than a highly specialized automotive technician.
- Competent with oil changes, brake inspection/service, and tire inspection/changes (installation).
- Basic scan-tool, vehicle-diagnostic, and tool/equipment troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials and equipment.
- Experience operating a forklift safely.
- Ability to maintain basic computer records and preventive-maintenance tracking.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work independently, communicate completed work and concerns, and maintain reliable attendance.
- Advanced automotive certifications are beneficial but not required.
- Must understand that roughly two-thirds of the position involves work outside automotive repair.
- Work effectively with other internal departments and vendors.
- Maintain current applicable safety training.
- Courteous team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:Â
- Work environment includes office, warehouse, fleet/service areas, company property, vendor locations, job sites, and outdoor areas.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, kneel, reach, climb, push, pull, lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed.
- Must be able to safely operate hand tools, power tools, vehicles, and basic maintenance equipment.
- Must be able to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions when completing deliveries, property upkeep, recycling, vehicle movement, and related tasks.
- Must be able to perform hands-on work for extended periods of time and safely lift up to 75lbs of materials and equipment as business needs require.
