WHAT YOU GET TO DO

The Installations Scheduler plays a critical role in the successful execution of automation and warehouse solution projects by coordinating and scheduling all installation activities. This position ensures that installation timelines are met, resources are allocated efficiently, and all documentation is prepared and distributed accurately. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in the context of automated logistics environments. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and maintain detailed installation schedules for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, including subcontractors, to ensure timely execution.
  • Utilize ASTA (KNAPP scheduling software) to manage and update project timelines.
  • Generate and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation) for mechanical and electrical installation services.
  • Prepare comprehensive installation documentation packages for field teams and contractors.
  • Facilitate handover meetings and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project scope and timelines.
  • Support the Installation team with logistics, documentation, and issue resolution.
  • Manage contractor relationships, including onboarding, performance tracking, and compliance.
  • Evaluate and revise execution plans based on project developments and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records for contractor evaluations and project performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management.

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Professional office etiquette is required at all times
  • Travel required 10%
  • Physical requirements: sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, climbing a ladder, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm’s length, and lifting up to 50 pounds
