We are seeking an experienced Public Safety Supervisor to help ensure the safety and security of our property, staff, and guests. This position plays a key leadership role on our Public Safety & Security team and is actively involved in daily operations and emergency response. Responsibilities include:
Â
- Supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Public Safety & Security team members
- Training, coaching, and mentoring part-time staff to support their professional development
- Assisting with the administration of annual performance evaluations
- Creating and managing daily work schedules; addressing operational questions and challenges
- Contributing to the development and oversight of the fiscal year budget
- Participating in day-to-day operations including:
- Emergency and alarm system response
- Weather monitoring and safety procedures
- Traffic control
- First aid response
- Regular safety patrols
- Security operations for private events
- Supporting the organization’s emergency preparedness efforts
- Responding to and providing supervision during incidents involving staff, guests, or property

The ideal candidate will possess:
Â
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety and security role; prior supervisory or management experience is a plus
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, AED, and Incident Command System (preferred)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with incident investigation and report writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with security software is a plus
- The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extended periods of standing, walking, driving, or sitting
- The ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A valid driver’s license required
