Grow in your social services career to the management role of Senior Social Worker position. You will be responsible for the education, oversight, and outcomes of the nursing center Social Workers within a defined geography.
Position Highlights
*Support and evaluate social work practice initiatives.
*Ensure that Social Services delivery is consistent and in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines, regulations, Genesis policies and procedures, and standards of care for specialty practice.
*Plan, develop, organize, evaluate, and direct the overall operation of the nursing center Social Workers in accordance with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics while maintaining compliance with regulations.
*Foster a climate, policies, and routines that enable patients/residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity so as to provide the highest level of well-being and quality of life.
*Support and evaluate social work practice initiatives.

*Able to work cooperatively as a team member
*Possess supervisory, interviewing, problem solving and interviewing skills
*Technologically proficient in the tools required for practice (i.e. PCC, etc.)
