The Custodial Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, uniforms, and other garments while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. This role ensures all laundry items are properly cleaned, handled, and returned in a timely manner. Laundry Attendant duties may include: Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Ensures proper use of detergents, chemicals, and cleaning solutions. Sorts, washes, dries, folds, and presses laundry according to fabric type and care instructions. Operates and maintains laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and irons. Inspects laundry items for stains, damage, or missing items and report issues. Provides basic/professional customer service when interacting with staff or clients. Tracks and distributes clean linens, uniforms, or garments. Maintains cleanliness and organization of the laundry area. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
