HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

A WISe Mental Health Clinician (Multilingual) works with youth and families enrolled in the WISe
program and functions as a core member of a collaborative care team. The Mental Health Clinician provides mental health services, incorporating evidence-based practices, that focus on the strengths of youth and families served, and partners with youth, family, natural supports and other community service providers to promote safe, stable and healthy families. This position provides community-based services, including meetings occurring in the family’s home or community setting of their choice. This position requires the ability to work flexible hours including
evenings. Individuals in this position may optionally participate in 24/7 On-Call availability on a rotating basis.

  • Maintain an active caseload of up to 25 youth and families enrolled in the WISe program, providing ongoing clinical services and support throughout their participation.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and evidence-based practices.
  • Partner with youth, families, and WISe team members to assess strengths and needs, and develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans aligned with the Cross Systems Care Plan.
  • Serve as a key clinical member of the WISe team, supporting coordination, collaboration, and communication across youth, families, and service providers.
  • Identify and address barriers to engagement, collaborating with youth, families, and team members to support participation in services.
  • Meet productivity and documentation expectations for the role, including timely completion of progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and other required clinical documentation.
  • Provide community-based services, including travel to family homes and community locations, with optional participation in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule.

HOW YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT:

  • (1) year(s) of related experience;knowledge, education, and training in the areas of human behavior and mental health; awareness of individual differences in ability, personality, and interest.
  • Master’s in social work, psychology, or related field.
  • Washington State credential required within (60) days of hire. Acceptable credentials include Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA). Equivalent credentials may be accepted depending on program or location requirements. Full licensure is not required for this role. Additional compensation may be available for clinicians who hold a qualifying independent license, in accordance with agency policy.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, both spoken and written

  • Interact with others and perform tasks in person and using technology, with moderate periods of stationary activity and moderate periods of increased physical activity including sitting, standing, and walking. Driving and traveling to community locations.  The position also requires verbal and written communication, computer and phone use, and work in varied office, homes, and community environments.
  • Move equipment/materials weighing up to (25) pounds.
  • Travels between worksites regularly; responsible for transporting clients in personal and/or agency vehicles, which requires valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and motor vehicle records clearance
  • Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, client home/community settings, outdoor settings in varying weather conditions, and faith-based settings such as churches
  • Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program
