Office Coordinators at Comprehensive serves as a primary customer service representative for external and internal customers. Provides general office support to include clinical reception, appointment scheduling, data entry, electronic health records (EHR) processing, financial assessment and administrative assistance. Office Coordinator duties may include: Serves as the primary resource to the team for a variety of clerical functions. Greets clients and general public and notifies clinical staff of appointment arrivals. Assists team in maintaining record compliance and ensuring accuracy of data. Completes data entry tasks accurately and as requested. Accurately updates and enters client demographic information and verifies insurance coverage. Maintains verifies and updates clinical staff schedules. Contacts clients with appointment reminder calls. Assists clients in completing agency documents. Ensures accuracy of initial financial assessment; makes initial determination and assists client in the process of eligibility for financial responsibility. Assists clients in exploring, securing and maintaining funding source; monitors payment compliance Responsible for collection of fees at point of service from clients; receives payments for a variety of services; records payments and writes receipts; reconciles receipts and prepares for deposits; serves as clinic petty cash custodian; disburses petty cash funds according to established procedures; reconciles petty cash funds and requests reimbursement as needed.
