Ampersand Therapy is hiring Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year in Kennewick Washington. Job Highlights:
Location: Kennewick WA
Position: Special Education Teacher (In-person)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
School Year: 2026–2027
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide developmentally appropriate instruction that supports early learning, communication, social-emotional growth, and school readiness
Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with families, related service providers, and multidisciplinary team members
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and appropriate assistive technology when needed
Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and family conferences
Qualifications:
Valid Washington State teaching certificate
Special Education endorsement required
Experience working with preschool-aged children or early childhood special education preferred
Must have current fingerprints on file with OSPI or be willing to complete them
