  • The position offers a salary range of $60,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a quarterly bonus and full benefits.
  • This is a home-office-based role requiring 50–70% travel across the Pacific Northwest, and no prior sprayer experience is necessary as training will be provided.

Be the first Precision Ag Territory Manager at Weed-It USA — a foundational role owning Washington, Oregon, and Idaho as we grow precision spot-spraying across North America.

Weed-It USA is the U.S. headquarters for Rometron, a global leader in precision spot-spraying technology. Our fluorescence sensing systems help farmers reduce herbicide use, lower production costs, and farm more sustainably.

We're looking for our first Precision Ag Territory Manager for the Pacific Northwest — the regional expert who will grow Weed-It across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. You'll support our dealers, sell directly to growers where we don't yet have coverage, run field demonstrations, and keep customers successful long after the sale. You'll join a small team at an early, pivotal stage and help shape how we grow across North America.

It's a genuine hybrid role — part technical support, part dealer development, part direct sales. One day you're calibrating a system in a grower's field; the next you're training a new dealer or closing a sale. No two days look the same.

What you'll do

Technical support

  • Serve as the primary technical resource for Weed-It systems across the territory
  • Support installations, machine setup, calibration, and system optimization alongside dealers and growers
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, software, and application issues in the field
  • Coordinate warranty support and replacement parts, and escalate to Rometron engineering when needed

Dealer development

  • Strengthen relationships with existing dealer partners and help them become self-sufficient in sales, installation, and support
  • Identify, recruit, evaluate, and onboard new dealers across the Pacific Northwest
  • Deliver product, technical, and sales training, and begin building joint business plans focused on mutual growth

Sales & business development

  • Grow Weed-It USA market share throughout the territory
  • Sell directly to growers where dealer coverage doesn't yet exist, and support dealers through the sales process to improve close rates
  • Build relationships with growers, agronomists, consultants, applicators, and industry influencers
  • Prepare quotes and proposals, and maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity in the company CRM

Demonstrations & customer success

  • Plan and run field demonstrations that prove the agronomic and economic value of precision spot spraying
  • Train growers and operators on proper system operation and help them maximize return on investment
  • Follow up after installations to ensure satisfaction and successful adoption, and document field results and ROI
  • Capture grower feedback and relay market needs to Weed-It USA and Rometron to drive continuous improvement
  • Represent Weed-It USA at farm shows, field days, dealer meetings, and industry events

What we're looking for

You don't need sprayer experience to succeed here — we'll teach the product. We value strong technical aptitude, fast learning, and someone who builds trust through responsiveness and follow-through.

Required

  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting or selling agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment — or comparable hands-on technical work
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with dealers and growers
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently from a home office
  • Willingness to travel 50–70% across the Pacific Northwest, including overnights
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM software

Preferred

  • Precision-agriculture experience, or agricultural-equipment sales or technical-support experience
  • Familiarity with sprayers, application equipment, or crop-production practices
  • Exposure to GPS guidance, ISOBUS, rate controllers, or other agricultural electronics
  • Experience supporting agricultural-equipment dealers
  • Agricultural degree or equivalent industry experience

Why join Weed-It USA

  • A founding regional role where you build and own the territory
  • Get in on the ground floor — the influence and career growth that come with being one of the first hires as the company scales
  • Direct work with company leadership and exposure to every part of the business
  • Represent industry-leading technology that saves growers money and reduces chemical use
  • $60,000–$100,000/year base depending on experience, plus a quarterly bonus based on overall company performance
  • Company vehicle provided at no cost, plus laptop and phone
  • Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation and company holidays
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where your ideas shape how we grow

Success in your first year

You've become the recognized Weed-It technical expert in the Pacific Northwest — certified on the product, leading installations, and resolving issues in the field. You've strengthened your existing dealers, recruited two to four new ones, and run 20–30 grower demonstrations across the territory. You've generated direct sales in areas where we didn't have coverage, and the customers you've brought on are seeing real ROI and coming back for more.

This is a home-office-based role within Washington, Oregon, or Idaho, with regular travel throughout the territory, including overnights.

Join Weed-It USA and help shape the future of precision agriculture in North America.
