Job Duties:

The University of Wisconsin–Parkside’s Social and Public Service Departments invite applications for temporary/part-time adjunct instructors to teach on an as-needed basis.

This is an open pool requisition. Qualified applicants may be selected from the pool to fill instructional needs as they arise. Hiring decisions are made based on departmental needs, course availability, and candidate qualifications.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Adjunct instructors may be assigned teaching responsibilities in one or more of the following areas, depending on departmental needs:

  • Criminal Justice

  • Geography and Anthropology

  • History

  • International Studies

  • Politics, Philosophy, and Law

  • Sociology

  • Teacher Education

  • PACC (Parkside Access to College Credit Program)

  • Smart City Policy and Civic Partnerships

  • Master's in Applied Professional Studies

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in the subject area OR

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject area OR

  • Master’s degree in another field and relevant professional experience
