Description

The Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) is responsible for overseeing daily, weekly, and strategic operations within the SFN Fulfillment Center. This role ensures all service level agreements (SLAs), productivity targets, and quality standards are consistently met across departments including Inbound, Pick/Pack, Labeling, Batch, and VAS/B2B. The AOM plays a critical leadership role in staffing, workflow prioritization, performance management, and cross-functional coordination.

KEY RESULT AREA

  • Prioritize all staffing and daily expectations
  • Review planned forecast to determine staffing needs
  • Review batch and pick/pack volume
  • Create cluster carts and batch orders while prioritizing expedited orders
  • Strategize for the day according to SLA needs and incoming shipments
  • Coordinate daily meetings with ICQAs to review and strategize by SLA
  • Review OPH, SLA status, and expedited orders throughout the day
  • Perform end of day review for multiple departments and ensure all exceptions have been resolved, mis-picked inventory has been restocked, confirm all carrier pick-ups, and verify that all orders have been completed for the day
  • Provide clear communication with ICQA team members throughout the day
  • Compile data, progress and questions for weekly business review meetings
  • Utilize ShipBob tools to pull daily reports to prepare for the day’s orders, forecasting staffing, OPH performance, and coordinate receiving product.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the leadership team.

WORKING CONDITIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High school degree required
  • 3 years of warehouse experience required
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience strongly preferred
