Job Title: Chemical Operator
Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr. - $24.00/hr.
Temp to Hire
Schedule:
2nd Shift | 4:00 pm – 12:30 am (Monday - Friday)

Position Summary
The Chemical Operator is responsible for safely operating equipment used to blend, transfer, and package chemical products within a manufacturing facility. This role ensures accurate processing of materials, maintains production documentation, and supports efficient and safe plant operations.


Key Chemical Operator Responsibilities
  • Operate pumps, tanks, and processing equipment to transfer, blend, and package chemical products.
  • Measure and mix chemical batches according to established formulas and production specifications.
  • Fill drums, totes, and containers and prepare products for storage or shipment.
  • Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure quality and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate production records, batch logs, and inventory documentation.
  • Operate forklifts or material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods as needed.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or industrial operations preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
  • Basic computer and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, lift up to 50 lbs. and climb as needed.

Requirements:
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Have basic math capabilities
  • Comfortable working around chemicals
  • Able to wear safety equipment (i.e.: respirator, gloves, acid suit, googles and steel-toed work boots)
  • May be required to work outdoors
  • Flexible with overtime
